WOMEN’S TRIP

Must be 10 years old for this trip. Anyone under 14 years old must be accompanied by a responsible, adult chaperone or parent.

Honduras has been named one of the most dangerous and worst places to be a woman. Women experience a wide range of violence, abuse, and sexual assault in both public and private places. The other factor causing many women to enter prostitution at an early age is poverty and lack of economic opportunity. 75% of the population of Honduras lives in poverty.  This poverty has left Hondurans desperate to have a stable income and unfortunately has driven women into human trafficking.

In April 2025 we are hosting our first ever all-women’s missions team.  The ministry will specifically focus on reaching the women of Honduras.  We will spend the week ministering in various cities including Tegucigalpa where we can reach and embrace broken, hurting and overlooked women of society. The team will sleep at the Love Honduras mission house and go on an adventure each day to pour out God’s love, especially on the women of Honduras.

MEN’S TRIP

Montaña De La Flor has a huge problem with homelessness and very poor living conditions. Love Honduras has stepped in to help bring people Homes of Hope. In 2024, Love Honduras built 18 homes in the mountain. That is 18 families whose lives have been changed by the love of Jesus. On this trip, we will be traveling to Montaña De La Flor for five days. During the daytime, our team will be building houses. The goal is to be able to do five houses on this trip. In the evening, we will reach out to the communities in the mountain by hosting campfires where team members will have an opportunity to share their testimonies and preach the Gospel.

** Fine Print Details

• Passports are required for all travelers with at least six months left on their passport before it expires.

• You must fill out an application and pay the registration fee of $50.00 to be considered for any trip.  

•You are responsible for your own plane ticket and travel expenses.  Do not buy your plane ticket until your application has been approved.  When you book your ticket you must arrive and depart from the correct city on the correct day during the hours of 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM.  If you are later or early you will have to wait at the airport or pay an extra fee of $50.00 for airport transportation.

• The above prices included your room & board, all your meals, and transportation.  It does not include your airfare, travel expenses, spending money, or personal necessities.  If you have a special diet you are responsible for your extra personal food needs.
