BOXES OF LOVE

This December you can be a part of Boxes of Love Honduras.  We will spend seven days in Montana De La Flor, spreading the love and joy of Christmas in eighteen communities where Love Honduras has feeding programs.  Then we will return to Tegucigalpa and spend the remaining two days sharing the joy of the Holiday Season in the Red Light District, on the streets of Tegucigalpa, in the garbage dump, and other places where many people live without love and joy in their lives.  The trip runs from Thursday, December 4 through Sunday, December 14.  It costs $800.00 for all your expenses in Honduras.  This does not cover your flight or your personal spending money.

HONDURAS / EL SALVADOR

10-day trip

Passport required | Must be 12+ years old or accompanied by a parent for this trip.

The Lencas are the oldest and largest indigenous people group in Honduras. They inhabit approximately 2,000 villages in the western highlands of Honduras and El Salvador. They are strict Catholics, but they also include some of their tribal customs and ceremonies in their religion. We will spend five days ministering to the Lencas in Lempira and Intibuca, Honduras. We will share the love of Jesus in many practical ways as we go door-to-door, minister to children, host evangelistic campfires, and minister in churches. Every day will be a new adventure at a new pace. Then we will pack up and go to El Salvador for the weekend, where we will work with some local churches in evangelism, youth ministry, and leadership training. You don’t want to miss this exciting 10-day trip in two countries.

WOMEN’S TRIP

7-day trip

Ladies, you do not want to miss this powerful week of ministry in Honduras. The women of Honduras need women of God to come and encourage them, speak into their lives, and pray for them. During this week, we will stay at our mission house in Tegucigalpa. Every day we will have new adventures in Tegucigalpa and nearby cities. We will visit our women’s and children’s shelter, the Home of Miracles, minister in the red light district, do special women’s meetings in church plants, minister in hospitals, visit schools, and more. Everything we will do will be specifically aimed at reaching women with the love of Jesus. Don’t miss this incredible week.

** Fine Print Details

• Passports are required for all travelers with at least six months left on their passport before it expires.

• You must fill out an application and pay the registration fee of $75.00 to be considered for any trip.  

•You are responsible for your own plane ticket and travel expenses.  Do not buy your plane ticket until your application has been approved.  When you book your ticket you must arrive and depart from the correct city on the correct day during the hours of 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM.  If you are later or early you will have to wait at the airport or pay an extra fee of $50.00 for airport transportation.

• The above prices included your room & board, all your meals, and transportation.  It does not include your airfare, travel expenses, spending money, or personal necessities.  If you have a special diet you are responsible for your extra personal food needs.
