Global ROAR was founded in 2007 at Living Stones Church in Crown Point, Indiana, by Pastors Dick and Susie Bashta. After graduating its first class in August 2009, the school was given degree-granting status by the State of Indiana and began offering Associate Degrees in Practical Theology and Intercultural Studies.
In 2013, Global ROAR launched its first international school in Mongolia as a nine-month residential program. As the need grew to equip national pastors without requiring them to leave their families and ministries for extended periods, Global ROAR developed a modular format. In this nine-month program, students attend classes three days each month, allowing them to receive quality Biblical training while continuing to serve in their local churches and communities.
Today, there are more than 130 Global ROAR schools around the world, equipping believers to fulfill God’s calling on their lives.
In 2021, Pastors Dick and Susie Bashta launched Global ROAR Honduras. This past week, we celebrated a special reunion honoring four generations of graduates. In just four years, Global ROAR Honduras has graduated nearly 100 students. Many graduates have gone on to plant churches, serve as missionaries, and step into leadership roles throughout Passion for the Souls churches and other ministries across Honduras.
Global ROAR Bible School provides a strong Biblical foundation that equips believers to grow in their faith, develop as leaders, and boldly fulfill the call God has placed on their lives.
Global ROAR Honduras is sponsored by the Buffalo Dream Center and is overseen by Pastor Michelle Johns in partnership with Honduran Pastor Cesar López of Passion for the Souls.
